INFINITE BEAT / BROADCAST 30 / THE CREATRIX
Sunday, August 7
1pm
Broadcast 30 is up for your podcasting pleasure. Featuring the intelligent, funny and undeniably talented techno producer The Creatrix. She is known as one half of the experimental duo Felidae with Beast Nest and has collaborated with many other Bay Area based producers like Nine. Now the Creatrix has ventured out of her collaborations to explore her own solo work, showcasing her emotive, sensual and often emotionally soothing techno.
We start with an exclusive mix from the producer, featuring tracks from Robert Hood, Dream 2 Science, No-Tech label head Ciarra Black and the Bay Area’s own Russell E.L. Butler.
After is a segment we like to call “girl gab,” where we navigate through topics like Boiler Room trolls, the problems of marketing women in dance music and how she thinks we can create safer spaces for women, LGBT and those that are non-binary.
We end with a beautiful live set from the Bay Area producer. Enjoy.
