Horrendous stories, mini-radio plays, were crudely presented, back in the day, by that vast, shadowy organization, the Children's Bible Hour, presided over, and featuring the unmistakable "Aunt" Bertha Trover Shooks. They told of adenoidal urchins who attempted to ignore A.B.'s Fundamentalist precepts and in consequence received, in every case, a hideous retribution. These eruptions into the Noosphere did not go unnoticed by Dr. H. Owll and his now deceased brother, Dr. Ygrundas Quinby, Jr. And so the practice of lovingly crafting (heh, heh!) our OWN "Auntie B" episodes had its genesis. Years later, fine work has been done in the SubGenius Marches, the borders of "Bob's" domain, by the irrepressible Phineas Narco, just one of the voices you will hear. Yes... but this is, as we say, a re-run-- so all these shows are --until Radio Valencia at last defeats the inboard obstructions of indolence, and goes striding boldly forward into broad, sunlit uplands.
