Baseball is near and dear to my heart. It is the true signal that spring has sprung to me. A Skatterbox Session is a form of reconstructive art. Imagine a collection of pristine albums, movies, and stand up comedy routines preserved perfectly in stained glass. Put those into a box. Shake the shit out of the box until everything is broken into a gazillon pieces, then dump out the contents and decorate the box with the broken pieces to form something unique. That is what you will experience here. As always, the Alchemist asks you to please enjoy responsibility.

The experience is weird and suspenseful, humorous and horrifying. The set is littered with cuts from Twin Peaks, Blue Velvet, Lost Highway, Dune, and Wild at Heart. There are nearly 50 cuts mixed in the the music. To list them all would be t0o tedious and take away from the surprise element.
David Lynch films are always as much sound collage as they are visual viscera. I feel like I have created a sound collage that David would revel in. The idea is to let your mind to the lifting where it comes to the visual aspect. I hope you enjoy listening to this as I did in its creation.

Hello fellow Alchemites and Confluxians. This week we are delving into the music I most recently have added to my collection. Most of that is brand new music, some if it is older content I recently became aware of, or just finally got around to picking up.
Special announcement: Next week for episode #028 we will have a special guest, Mia d’Bruzzi. Mia is one of the pioneers in the SF Punk Scene as a member of Frightwig and an Mudwimmin. We’ll be discussing her current project, Dizzy Twin, as well as her history in the SF scene, early and current influences, and future plans. It should be a fun evening, so be sure to tune in on 2/9/2022 for that.
