The Blues Invades An Aleatoric Evening This Tues from 8-10pm

Monday, October 15, 11am

Tomorrow night (Tuesday) from 8-10pm, The Blues will invade An Aleatoric Evening. I will be running through a great history of the blues starting with old Delta “race records” from the likes of Robert Johnson and Charley Patton. I will be moving through jump-blues and the start of Rockabilly, post-war electrified blues, Chicago blues, Texas blues, Piedmont blues, bluesman who played the harp and blues women who just belted the blues. I will be highlighting some of my favorites off of Chess and Alligator records and moving back to the days of John and Alan Lomax and W.C. Handy record artists on 78s. “The blues isnt music, its a feeling everyone gets” -Howling Wolf. So tune into An Aleatoric Evening and get some of that blues feeling back.
