For the final Geek EmaNation Show in the Thursday 4-6PM time slot, The Rock’N’Roll Nurse decided to pay tribute to the shows directly preceding and following (Axel Chitlin’s AM Radio and Bad Girl Beats) by juxtaposing ’60s folk-pop heroes THE TURTLES with ’70s disco diva SYLVESTER.  Hear the resulting zaniness and decide for yourself if it makes any sense whatsoever.  Next stop Fridays 8-10PM, fellow music geeks!

Back by unpopular demand as GE continues its Dance Into Spring series comes more of the trashy disco schlock that unfairly defines that pop-culture era.  “Luminaries” such as ANDREA TRUE CONNECTION, PETER BROWN, DISCO TEX AND THE SEX-O-LETTES will be featured, along with some disco dance instruction and stories about roller skating to the sounds of “Disco Duck”.  Throw off those taste tethers, fellow music geeks!
