Deep Cutlery
The one where he has a guest and 1990 is the topic.
The first thing the listener hears is a WAITING FOR GUFFMAN scene followed by PASSION PLAY (WHEN ALL THE SLAVES ARE FREE) by Joni Mitchell then one hears SOMETHING TO MAKE YOU HAPPY by Dave Mason and Cass Elliott which then is followed by an interesting song called OLD BONES by Harry Nilsson and then after that the next thing heard is LA BELLE FLEURE SAUVAGE by a newish band Shumakes really likes called Lord Huron and then one hears YOU OUGHT TO BE IN PICTURES by Roy Fox and His Band from decades past and following that is a Morgan Geist remix of a Tracey Thorn song called WHY DOES THE WIND which is then followed by one of his favorite singers Baxter Dury with a song entitled LIPS and then The Church offer CONSTANT IN OPAL followed by the great Astrud Gilberto with a song called DINDI and then Jens Lekman sings BECOME SOMEONE ELSEs and the next artist heard is Aimee Mann with her song from 2012 called GUMBY.

THEN, a celebration of 1990 begins, with friend Bronwyn. We play the songs from the year in which we met, 25 years ago. Beginning this set is HEAVEN OR LAS VEGAS or, as we refer to it, OONA POH NAY, by Cocteau Twins. Then we hear Depeche Mode doing WAITING FOR THE NIGHT which is followed by Liverpudlian Ian McCulloch, decidedly not from Scotlandia, doing HORSE'S HEAD. The next song is called I AM STRETCHED ON YOUR GRAVE by Sinead O'Connor from her album I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got. This is followed by THE ONLY ONE I KNOW by Charlatans UK, and MY BOOK by The Beautiful South from their album Choke. ISTANBUL (NOT CONSTANTINOPLE) from They Might Be Giants is featured. IT MUST BE OBVIOUS is a B-side from Pet Shop Boys from their Behaviour era. Then it is the Sundays talking about A CERTAIN SOMEONE, followed by World Party and WAY DOWN NOW. CHRISTINE is done by House of Love on Creation Records. WAITING FOR THAT DAY is presented by George Michael. Then an interlude of LET'S HAVE ANOTHER CUP OF COFFEE from the early 1930s, as featured in the Paper Moon moving picture, is played. Then we return to the music with GETTING AWAY WITH IT by Electronic. BLUE SAVANNAH by Erasure is followed by THE GENTLE KIND as played by Aztec Camera.

And that is the show.
