Francois Peglau got his start in the Lima Indie scene as lead of Los Fucking Sombreros.
Since leaving Los Fucking Sombreros he has moved to London and started working on his solo musical works which is influenced by his Peruvian/French/Argentine heritage as well as a range of musical styles from the socially charged lyrics of Nueva Cancion to the self-depreciating lyrics of Elliot Smith mixed with hints of Beattlesque harmonies/melodies.

His new album The Imminent Failure of Francois Peglau is quickly becoming one of my favorite albums of the year, but luckily you don’t have to take my word for it because the entire 10-track album is currently available for free download on his Bandcamp.
