Next Saturday is a solo show inspired by the bold writing of Virginie Depentes and her most popular, controversial work, Baise Moi. Not the best film, but an important one in radical feminist cinema, Baise Moi was a film adaptation of her book of the same title.

Directed by her, an ex-prostitute, and porn actress/author Coralie Trinh Thi, it is known as a “rape and revenge” film, though it is a far more radical depiction of the genre which is normally directed by men. The film is an ultra violent, real sex depiction of female aggression as a reaction to the marginalization, sexual abuse and violence at the hands of hyper masculinity.
