A Skatterbox Session is a form of reconstructive art. Imagine a collection of pristine albums, movies, and stand up comedy routines preserved perfectly in stained glass. Put those into a box. Shake the shit out of the box until everything is broken into a gazillon pieces, then dump out the contents and decorate the box with the broken pieces to form something unique. That is what you will experience here. As always, the Alchemist asks you to please enjoy responsibility.

Hello fellow Confluxians! I’ve made it to episode #10. Woohoo!! Another A.P. Alchemy session where I bring you a short list of long songs….with an even shorter list of short songs that act as sound beds for me to talk over. I introduced something during the middle of the set where I posted the lyrics of the songs. That will now be part of the blog set list. Having something to read while you listen can be fun…like liner notes…..remember those.
Tune in next week for my ORIGIN STORY….yes…how I got to be as strange as I am has beginning….but for now. This week’s set list. Lyrical content will be below the set list.
Lyrics: Death of Coyote Woman
How have I been chased for so long
So long, so long
Every time heart beats I’ve grown strong
Grown strong, grown strong
All these things are brought up to me
Head on, bright on
All these things are brought up to me
Bright on, bright on
Bright on.
How have I been chased for so long
So long, so long
Every time heart beats, I’ve grown strong
Grown strong, grown strong
All these things are brought up to me
Bright on, bright on
All these things are brought up to me
Bright on, bright on
Bright on.

Lyrics: Home Invasion/Regret #9
Download sex and download God.
Download the funds to meet the cost.
Download a dream home and a wife.
Download the ocean and the sky.
Another day of life has passed me by.
But I have lost all faith in what’s outside.
They only are the stars across the sky
And the wreckage of the night.
Download love and download war.
Download the shit you didn’t want.
Download the things that make you MAD.
Download the life you wish you had.
Another day of life has passed me by.
But I have lost all faith in what’s outside.
They only are the stars across the sky
And the wreckage of the night.

Lyrics: In the Shadow of Our Pale Companion
Through vast valleys I wonder
To the highest peaks
On pathways through a wild forgotten landscape
In search of God, in spite of man
‘Til the lost forsaken endless
This is where I choose to tread
Fall. so shall we fall into nihil?
The nothingness that we feel in the arms of the pale
In the shadow of the grim companion who walks with us
Here is the landscape
Here is the sun
Here in the balance of the earth
Where is the god?
Has he fallen and abandoned us?
As I’m stalked by the shadow of death’s hand
The fire in my heart is forged across the land
Here at the edge of this world
Here I gaze at a pantheon of oak
A citadel of stone
If this grand panorama before me is what you call God
Then God is not dead
I walked down to a river and sat in reflection of what had to be done
An offering of crimson flowed into the water below
A wound of spirit from which it floated and faded away
Like every hope I’ve ever had
Like every dream I’ve ever known
It washed away in a tide of longing, a longing for a better world
From my will, my throat, to the river, and into the sea
Wash away
Fade away
Here is the landscape
Here is the sun
Here at the edge of the earth
Where is the god?
Has he fallen to ruin?
As I’m stalked by the shadow of death’s hand
My heathen pride is scarred across the land
