Conflux Cornucopia Cerebellum Cocktail Hour: Episode #044: Beyond the Dusty Edge of Nowhere

June 3, 9pm

Podcasts

Welcome back to the Conflux Cornucopia Cerebellum Cocktail Hour. Back in December, I started you on a mystical ride out to a Dive Bar at the Dusty Edge of Nowhere. (Episode #020 which originally was broadcast on 12/1/21). This show picks up where that show left off. Throughout this show I felt oddly inspired to drop into (and sometimes out of) a character that somewhat resembled a hybrid of Hunter S. Thompson and William S. Burroughs. So you get some creative “cheese”, and some off the cuff rambling that certainly is derived “Fromunda.” Great mystical ride with fantastic music. It’s a good episode to use headphones on as I sprinkled a little mixing board magic here and there to enhance the vibe.

The Conflux Cornucopia Cerebellum Cocktail Hour Episode #030: The Consequences of Day Drinking with David Lynch

March 6, 4pm

Podcasts

The experience is weird and suspenseful, humorous and horrifying. The set is littered with cuts from Twin Peaks, Blue Velvet, Lost Highway, Dune, and Wild at Heart. There are nearly 50 cuts mixed in the the music. To list them all would be t0o tedious and take away from the surprise element.
David Lynch films are always as much sound collage as they are visual viscera. I feel like I have created a sound collage that David would revel in. The idea is to let your mind to the lifting where it comes to the visual aspect. I hope you enjoy listening to this as I did in its creation.

Conflux Cornucopia Cerebellum Cocktail Hour: Episode #016: Staring into the Abyss-A Horror Show

October 31, 12pm

Podcasts

Happy Halloween my fiendish Alchemites and Confluxians. Welcome to this hellish sound collage from deep within the abyss. Please feel free to stream this while your trick or treater darken your doorway, or if you are hosting a haunted house. Though the content will feel and sound disturbing and vile, there is no need to fear that you are broadcasting profanity into your neighborhood as I was careful not to include some of things vulgarity that does appear in some of the movie sound sources I used, like the Exorcist. That being said, it is very dark and will leave a chill in your bones and even frighten those who do not steep themselves in the world of horror as I enjoy doing.

Thank you for listening to my show, or podcast after the fact. I appreciate your support.
