Malderor – Hanoi Rocks Live Special! (And some random vinyl.)

November 22, 2017
8:15 pm

The first 50 minutes are a live set from Hanoi Rocks in London’s Marquee Club, from 1983. Hanoi Rocks never really captured their live power on record, so this live document is one of the better ways to experience them. And them Malderor was still training a new guy on how to spin vinyl, so there’s a bunch of random punk-rock vinyl played. Give it a listen:

Malderor – Chaos and the Apache Break

November 21, 2017
7:54 pm

Today was a weird episode. Malderor’s guest canceled with a totally valid health-issue the morning of the gig. But since he was a label-dude, and the entire show today was built around releases on his label, Malderor was forced to wing-it. Fortunately, Malderor was watching “Hip-Hop Evolution” and has been digging into songs that sample the Incredible Bongo Band’s track “Apache.” So there were a whole bunch of those. Copyright is bullshit.

2:04pm: Say Fuck It by Buckcherry

Malderor – Death Metal Disco

November 3, 2017
1:14 pm

Malderor got home from DJing a “Death-Metal-Disco” party at 5am, and he’s feeling a little the worse for wear. He also has a big stack of underground disco he never got around to playing last night, so this show is heavy on the disco and funk. (And very light on Death Metal, to be honest.)
