KING GRUNDUNCLE'S RUTABAGA-SHAPED SHINBONE
WAS USED by the Duke of Microslavia to carve an Ocarina that he played at the battle of Beauregard Heights before all his knights to set things to rights... The Princess Erulain made many unforgivable comments. You know, the artless, homely rutabaga is an often overlooked, but sweet and nutrient-packed, root vegetable. Originating sometime in the 17th century, it’s a hybrid between a turnip and a wild cabbage. In fact, a rutabaga kind of looks like a giant, ugly turnip. Many people confuse the two vegetables, but there are some key differences. What do I care? It's been 46 irretrievable years since I lay naked with Melissa in the sunshine.

SUBGENIUS PLANS FOR WORLD CONQUEST

SUBGENIUS PLANS FOR WORLD CONQUEST
AND HERE WE REVEAL IT IN THE 2nd HOUR. Our so-called "Church" (for want of a more accurate term) teaches a complex philosophy that focuses on J. R. "Bob" Dobbs, purportedly a salesman from the 1950s, who is revered as a prophet by the Church. SubGenius leaders have developed detailed narratives about Dobbs and his relationship to various Gods and conspiracies. A principal deity, Jehovah 1, identified with the Christian Father in their triune Godhead and William Blake's "Nobodaddy" is accompanied by other Gods drawn from ancient myth and popular fiction. SubGenius literature describes a grand Conspiracy that seeks to brainwash the world and oppress Dobbs's followers. In its narratives, we typically present a blend of cultural references in an elaborate remix, or synthesis of the sources.

Ivan Stang, who co-founded the Church in the 1970s, serves as its leader and publicist. He has imitated actions of other religious leaders, using the tactic of culture jamming in an attempt to parody better-known faiths. Church leaders instruct their followers to avoid mainstream commercialism and the belief in absolute truths. The group holds that the quality of "Slack" is of utmost importance. The number of followers is unknown, although the Church's message has been welcomed by college students and artists in the United States. The group is often compared to Discordianism. Journalists often consider the Church an elaborate joke, but some academics have defended it as a real system of deeply held beliefs. On this show we reveal our profoundest Mysteries.

CARSON VS MOSKOO

CARSON VS MOSKOO
OR, THE STRUGGLE FOR DUARE. After his accidental arrival on the planet Venus, called Amtor by its humanoid inhabitants, Carson Napier of California, U.S.A. met and became enamored of the ravishingly beautiful Amtorian princess, Duare. It took much time for the two to become lovers, and during that time a picaresque series of travails beset the visiting American. Duare was captured by the vile Moskoo, an Onyangan (Amtorian: "Great Friend"), who, like everyone who encountered her attempted to violate and defile her sacrosanct person. In the instance we discuss, Carson attacked and ultimately killed Moskoo, a cruel and corrupt official of the Thorist Party (see Venusian Politics: the Thorist Ascendancy by R.F. Snell, 1968). Stuff like that was always happening on the Planet of Love, the Evening Star.

THE ARMILLARY SPHERE AND THE ASTROLABE
February 25, 2011 10:00pm

Ask Dr Hal
THE ARMILLARY SPHERE AND THE ASTROLABE
LET US START WITH he equinoctial A, which is divided into 360 degrees (beginning at its intersection with the ecliptic in Aries) for showing the sun's right ascension in degrees; and also into 24 hours, for showing its right ascension in time.
The ecliptic B, which is divided into 12 signs, and each sign into 30 degrees, and also into the months and days of the year; in such a manner, that the degree or point of the ecliptic in which the sun is, on any given day, stands over that day in the circle of months.
The tropic of Cancer C, touching the ecliptic at the beginning of Cancer in e, and the tropic of Capricorn D, touching the ecliptic at the beginning of Capricorn in f; each 231⁄2 degrees from the equinoctial circle.
The Arctic Circle E, and the Antarctic Circle F, each 231⁄2 degrees from its respective pole at N and S.
The equinoctial colure G, passing through the north and south poles of the heaven at N and S, and through the equinoctial points Aries and Libra, in the ecliptic.
The solstitial colure H, passing through the poles of the heaven, and through the solstitial points Cancer and Capricorn, in the ecliptic. Each quarter of the former of these colures is divided into 90 degrees, from the equinoctial to the poles of the world, for showing the declination of the sun, moon, and stars; and each quarter of the latter, from the ecliptic as e and f, to its poles b and d, for showing the latitude of the stars.

In the north pole of the ecliptic is a nut b, to which is fixed one end of the quadrantal wire, and to the other end a small sun Y, which is carried round the ecliptic B—B, by turning the nut : and in the south pole of the ecliptic is a pin d, on which is another quadrantal wire, with a small moon Ζ upon it, which may be moved round by hand : but there is a particular contrivance for causing the moon to move in an orbit which crosses the ecliptic at an angle of 51⁄3 degrees, to opposite points called the moon's nodes; and also for shifting these points backward in the ecliptic, as the moon's nodes shift in the heaven.

Within these circular rings is a small terrestrial globe I, fixed on an axis K, which extends from the north and south poles of the globe at n and s, to those of the celestial sphere at N and S. On this axis is fixed the flat celestial meridian L L, which may be set directly over the meridian of any place on the globe, so as to keep over the same meridian upon it. This flat meridian is graduated the same way as the brass meridian of the common globe, and its use is much the same. To this globe is fitted the movable horizon M, so as to turn upon the two strong wires proceeding from its east and west points to the globe, and entering the globe at the opposite points off its equator, which is a movable brass ring set into the globe in a groove all around its equator. The globe may be turned by hand within this ring, so as to place any given meridian upon it, directly under the celestial meridian L. The horizon is divided into 360 degrees all around its outermost edge, within which are the points of the compass, for showing the amplitude of the sun and the moon, both in degrees and points. The celestial meridian L passes through two notches in the north and south points of the horizon, as in a common globe: both here, if the globe be turned round, the horizon and meridian turn with it. At the south pole of the sphere is a circle of 25 hours, fixed to the rings, and on the axis is an index which goes round that circle, if the globe be turned round its axis.
The original diagram of Chinese scientist Su Song's book of 1092 showing the inner workings of his clocktower; a mechanically rotated armillary sphere crowns the top.

The whole fabric is supported on a pedestal N, and may be elevated or depressed upon the joint O, to any number of degrees from 0 to 90, by means of the arc P, which is fixed in the strong brass arm Q, and slides in the upright piece R, in which is a screw at r, to fix it at any proper elevation.

In the box T are two wheels (as in Dr Long's sphere) and two pinions, whose axes come out at V and U; either of which may be turned by the small winch W. When the winch is put upon the axis V, and turn backward, the terrestrial globe, with its horizon and celestial meridian, keep at rest; and the whole sphere of circles turns round from east, by south, to west, carrying the sun Y, and moon Z, round the same way, and causing them to rise above and set below the horizon. But when the winch is put upon the axis U, and turned forward, the sphere with the sun and moon keep at rest; and the earth, with its horizon and meridian, turn round from horizon to the sun and moon, to which these bodies came when the earth kept at rest, and they were carried round it; showing that they rise and set in the same points of the horizon, and at the same times in the hour circle, whether the motion be in the earth or in the heaven. If the earthly globe be turned, the hour-index goes round its hour-circle; but if the sphere be turned, the hour-circle goes round below the index.

And so, by this construction, the machine is equally fitted to show either the real motion of the earth, or the apparent motion of the heavens.

To rectify the sphere for use, first slacken the screw r in the upright stem R, and taking hold of the arm Q, move it up or down until the given degree of latitude for any place be at the side of the stem R; and then the axis of the sphere will be properly elevated, so as to stand parallel to the axis of the world, if the machine be set north and south by a small compass: this done, count the latitude from the north pole, upon the celestial meridian L, down towards the north notch of the horizon, and set the horizon to that latitude; then, turn the nut b until the sun Y comes to the given day of the year in the ecliptic, and the sun will be at its proper place for that day: find the place of the moon's ascending node, and also the place of the moon, by an Ephemeris, and set them right accordingly: lastly, turn the winch W, until either the sun comes to the meridian L, or until the meridian comes to the sun (according as you want the sphere or earth to move) and set the hour-index to the XII, marked noon, and the whole machine will be rectified. — Then turn the winch, and observe when the sun or moon rise and set in the horizon, and the hour-index will show the times thereof for the given day.[2]

THE CURE FOR CANCER REVEALED

THE CURE FOR CANCER REVEALED
DURING THE SHOW, IN ITS ENTIRETY. This is an example, given here to the world. For instance, in CAR T-cell therapy, T cells are taken from a patient, programmed to recognize a specific cancer antigen, then returned to the patient. But there are many cancer antigens, and physicians sometimes need to guess which ones will be most potent. This essentially turns on training T cells to recognize cancer via processes that more closely mimic the way things naturally occur in the body — like the way a vaccine teaches the immune system to recognize pathogens. T cells learn to recognize pathogens because special antigen presenting cells (APCs) gather pieces of the pathogen and show them to the T cells in a way that tells the T cells, “Here is what the pathogen looks like — go get it.” What we offer is something similar in cancer, which is for APCs to gather up the many antigens that characterize a cancer cell. That way, instead of T cells being programmed to attack one or a few antigens, they are trained to recognize many cancer antigens and are more likely to wage a multi-pronged attack on the cancer. Multaeity in Unity. Now that researchers have become adept at transforming one kind of cell into another, we merely suggest that if they just turned cancer cells into a type of APC called macrophages, those would be naturally adept at teaching T cells what to attack. In this show we tell just how. Oncologists take note!

HOW TO LIVE FOREVER-- EXCLUSIVE
THIS SHOW IS THE ONLY ONE EVER in which this Formula will be provided. Ingredients List starts at 46:13, but we advise listening to the introductory section. How to go on and on, from body to body and beyond the body. How my grandfather instructed me at an early age-- he is of course prominently one of my "Riders" (although I prefer the term, "Guides." When the centuries behind me like a fruitful land reposed. How to encounter other Long Livers, and the question of secrecy. Human blood is actually not really needed, just a ritual. Harum rerum notitiam semper ambivit, ingenium humanum nunquam attigit. All doth fall away into age and dissolution. Somebody get me off this crazy carnival ride. But we can die, just like mortals, as has been shown in the examples related here.

These savage Fish were at some prior Time introduc'd to this Aquatick Body from Afric's Rivers; here they have since Flourish'd. The Liveliness of this Pond must be encounter'd to bee believ'd. Was it not said of ACHILLES, that he commanded that the Wounds of PATROCLUS his Companion be clean'd & scour'd, in order that the Maggots of certain Flies might not there inhabit?

WHEN WE SAILED ABOARD THE "DIANA"
FOLLOWING CAPTAIN JOHN BIDDEL, who by sailing down the Latitude reported by surgeon Lemuel Gulliver, destroyed the country and peoples of Lilliput and Blefescu. We have wondered if there may be any survivors of that catastrophe. The sailors attacked when the nation was at its weakest after a destructive civil war. The Emperors of Blefescu and Lilliput had just then died in single combat outside the walls of Mildendo.

DEADLY WEAPONS OF THE FUTURE
ARE AN ARSENAL we discuss. They are an exercise in overkill, but that describes the ones we have now as well-- normal for our species. Some of these babies are (will be) outlawed on our own planet, but it is (will be) supposed that some are there anyway. Shown: the elegant and deadly Stoltgratz 16. You can't get these in this time period, in this particular ramification of the Multiverse. 5 hours.
