Anything goes as usual and also I play a good number of songs by Quiet Domino, the San Francisco based indie electronic music project by San Franciscan singer songwriter Mark Nelson. He’s performing Thursday night June 11th, 2026 at Starline Social Club in Oakland. 8pm-12am along with acts from other performers. I play songs by him and also I tend to go all over the place genre wise but mostly chill easy listening today. Some instrumentals.

The reason for this photo is because I ran into this former ABC News Anchor Reggie Aqui right before the show. Another great show today of LP Lounge! We listen to all kinds of great music and we pay tribute to Ronald LaPread by playing a number of Commodores songs. Ronald LaPread was the bassist & cofounder of The Commodores. He recently died at the age of 75.

Some chill music gets played. It’s Lenny Kravitz birthday so I play a couple songs by him. One of them is from his 1993 album Are You Gonna Go My Way which then leads me to playing a bunch of songs from the year 1993 from other bands and some rap groups. It’s also Miles Davis’s 100th birthday so we listen to a long trippy number by him. Yea good stuff up in here.
