We're back!

Mac and JoJo bid farewell to Neon Shrines by failing to remember to hit the record button in the studio. So, the first 20 min. are lost, which really annoyed Mac because "we were cookin!" Yeah, we were cooking, but we continued to cook throughout the whole show.

We do a little reading and then comment on what we read. Also features sections from CAREENING DIVINE, a private OSGH fanzine.

Mac joins us in the studio to discuss local powerspots, drifting, & the picaresque

Stella and Jojo talk about fantasy adventures and de Selby's philosophy of roads and houses in Flann O'Brien Third Policeman. Non-euclidean fun!

Despite losing the first 45 minutes to a technical error, this episode still brings the heat. We discourse on the spiritual value of monuments, talk about the burning of Notre Dame, and what it means to overcome the human element in our own selves.

Stella & Jojo are back after a month in Europe to discuss the politics of a good goof session, the Holy Road, and the virtue of thinking 10 impossible things before breakfast.

Jojo, Stella, & Mac muse together, and end up lost, and then muse about getting lost, and its impossibility these days.

Stella & Jojo storm the studio with their copy of J. Campbell's Hero With a 1k Faces, once again. Supernatural obstacles mark our descent into the abyss, where we encountered a magic swamp frog, Walter Plopper. The rest is a blur.

We packed the studio with experts to discuss (and dissect) the concept of a collective unconscious. The conversation goes off the rails so far that we found ourselves on a different path entirely. Perfecto!

Special +4 hour Neon Shrines dive into stack of books both sublime slime & offense against the senses. We memorize a great line of poetry by Blake, and then talk long about power spots, William S Burroughs' essay on Sacred Places, and then fall into Shakespeare's most memorable lines.

Alone in the studio Stella decides to rock out to a music-heavy show. She also opines about the virtues of Fiona Apple and her relevance to pilgrimage.

Stella in the studio and Jojo in the Floridian casita ponder the merits of telling people the worst parts of your Camino, and, potentially, gatekeeping the whole experience.

Mac drops by the studio & we proceed to have a meaningful conversations about death, the afterlife, and spiritual mentorship. Also, a top-tier playlist.
