NYC Chanteuse Emily Zuzik dropped into the studio, fresh from running the Bay to Breakers. Billfrog was also there, drinking mixers.

Malderor was visiting the United Kingdom, so Dr Junk drafted Mr Jason in to help him do the show via a live remote from Portland, Oregon. Which was kinda cool.

In response to a listener comment that we don't play much music by female artists, Malderor spun a few tracks by the ladies.

Local SF band Redwood Wires visit the studio and play a few tracks before their show at Kimo's.

Some of our long-time listeners were traveling in Europe, so we tailored some of the show for them.

Dr. Junk was off feeding his gambling-addiction in Reno, and didn't show up until the middle of the program. As such the first hour is BRILLIANT, and then it goes downhill. For some reason this episode didn't get uploaded to the podcast page when it was current, so this is a late addition to the canon.

Vic, guitarist for post-punk/country band The Famous stops by to visit Malderor & Dr Junk. 3/4 of the band failed to appear, so Live Music March went out with somewhat less of a bang than we'd planned, but it was a solid show. And we played Van Halen.

CW and Matt from the Disciples of Vice came by the studio to play their bass&drum morphine-influenced tunes as part of Live Music March. We'll be having them back on the show soon.

Our first real live band for Live Music March, SF-based trad/Irish/punk band Culann's Hound perform.

We kicked off Live-Music-March with a visit to the studio from local band Control-R.

This is another "lost" episode that somehow didn't get podcasted when it was current. Dr. Junk is disappointed with his new copy of Radiohead's "King Of Limbs" and Malderor plays some gospel-y stuff. Oddly, also, this episode had some of the most commentary ever in our active chat-room.

Another old episode that never got pod-casted. This one is old enough that I don't remember what exactly happened, except that some guy named Danny Sullivan bought us shots at The Peaks before our show. As such, we start out drunk and sloppy and get successively worse. I also play the Waterboys cover of "Purple Rain", PiL, and that "Read A Book" song, and I think we take a caller from New York City.

We ignored the Superbowl and went ahead and did the show that Sunday anyway. It turns out the transmitter and the website were both down, so we were shouting into the abyss. Oh, the irony.

I'm not sure this episode was ever podcast. I have a copy on my iPod, but it never seems to have gone live on our site. So this begins a series of me resurrecting "lost" shows from our archives for our one listener, Darren, who is systematically going through our vaults.

Peps (promoter) and Keno (performer) came by the studio to play a few tracks and talk about some upcoming parties and shows thrown in conjunction with the SF IndyFest. (Dr. Junk took the week off and listened to the show on the radio.)

By now we've got the system in place: hangovers, martinis, the Bad Religion SAT Word of the Week, etc. Also, the RV chat-board starts to take off as a way to interact with us. (This is the episode where Dr Junk points out that we are "both filler and bullshit".)

San Jose ambient-techno artist Toaster (aka Todd Elliott) visits the studio to preview tracks from his latest release "The Banging Process".

Starting off on a new leaf, Malderor is completely sober. Good tunes this week, too. (This show has been edited to include 13 minutes of additional content as Dr Junk wandered over time.)

Brian Takenaka, Tokyo-based producer of loops and beats, visits Dr. Junk and Malderor at their Secret Lair.

Given familial duties and internet issues, Malderor ended up doing this show as a live remote from a campground (with Wi-Fi) on the Mendocino Coast, near Point Arena. Dr Junk bravely held down the studio (and all the technical hassles) to make this show happen.

We're both hungover this week. Malderor's German work colleague Helge drops in for a quick visit, and Malderor leaves early for a work xmas party. There is also much jiggling of wires to make the mp3 players work.
