"QUEERS & COMICS
features two days of discussion panels, workshops, readings, and comics galore, along with a multitude of off-site events. This year we will spotlight international and emerging LGBTQ cartoonists, the role of the San Francisco Bay Area, and the future of queer comics."

Jennifer Camper is a cartoonist and graphic artist. Her books include “Rude Girls and Dangerous Women” and “subGURLZ”, and she edited two “Juicy Mother” comics anthologies. Her work appears in numerous publications, comic books, and anthologies, and has been exhibited internationally. She is the founding director of the biennial Queers & Comics Conference.

Justin Hall is the creator of the comics series Hard To Swallow, True Travel Tales, and Glamazonia, and has work in the Houghton Miflin Best American Comics, S.F. Bay Guardian, and Best Erotic Comics. He edited the Lambda Literary Award-winning, Eisner Award-nominated No Straight Lines: Four Decades of Queer Comics, curated shows of LGBTQ comics at the S.F. Cartoon Art Museum and the Schwules Museum in Berlin, and is an Assistant Professor of Comics at the California College of the Arts and a Fulbright Scholar. justinhallcomics.com

Tyler Cohen is a cartoonist who uses autobiography and surrealism to explore gender, parenthood, race, and female experience in her book Primahood: Magenta (Stacked Deck Press). Her work has appeared online at PEN America/PEN Illustrated and MuthaMagazine.com and in print in the Ignatz Award-winning anthology, Qu33r, Alphabet, and The Feminist Utopia Project. Tyler also illustrated her sister Kerry Cohen's memoir, Girl Trouble (Hawthorne Press).
