We went totally free-form on the Veranda tonight. Things got decidedly funky for a while, but, as usual, there were sweeps across different genres. Played some new one by Thadeus Gonzalez, L.A. Witch, Slugger, Daniel Lanois, Baits, Fiona Apple, Buke and Gase, and even touched on some Ethio-jazz by Muatu Astatke. It was a really fun show. Enjoy, and thanks for listening!
