We lost one of the bright lights of the universe, Todd Evan Sims. He was a genuine and extremely intelligent man, witty, kind, and a true gentleman.

Like many things from my skate-punk adolescence, my first concert seeing The Ramones, going to skate competitions etc., buying the album This Is Boston Not L.A. didn't seem important at the time. But years later, all these things are incredibly important. The Ramones are one of the most important punk bands; Tony Hawk is now an international super star; skateboarding will finally be in the Olympics this year. This is Boston Not L.A. is an historically important record. Sure my elders thought this was all just greasy kids stuff, maybe they still do, but they cannot deny the significance of the punk movement on history. Thus, I'm proud to present this album on Bo's Veranda. It's super aggressive and not for everyone, nonetheless I hope you give it a listen. The last band, The Freeze is especially awesome :)
